DANIEL GEHLEN

Before founding, Daniel spent two years at Barclays in investment banking in Frankfurt advising German and European corporates as well as private equity investors on strategic decisions with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to that, he gained, among others, several years of practical experience in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, in various positions at DZ Bank (including equity, research, macro research, leveraged finance) and in portfolio management (small & mid cap equities) at Union Investment.

Daniel studied at the London School of Economics (MSc Finance, best student of the year), Frankfurt School (BSc) as well as Harvard University and MIT.

MARC-LENNART BRÄUTIGAM

Before founding, Marc spent two years at Barclays in investment banking in London advising corporates as well as private equity investors in the EMEA region on equity capital market transactions (IPOs, rights issues, block trades).

Prior to that, he gained, among others, several years of practical experience in investment banking at UniCredit (ECM, M&A), in equity research and equity sales at Commerzbank in Frankfurt and New York and in portfolio management at a value investing boutique in Frankfurt.

Marc studied in a co-op degree programme with Commerzbank at the DHBW Stuttgart (BA Hons) and the University of California San Diego.

KORY KAUNISTO

Before joining our team in March 2020, Kory spent nearly four years in corporate and transaction banking at Citi in Hong Kong covering companies in the Corporate & Transaction Banking division.

Prior to that, he acquired two companies as an analyst in in-house M&A at Amwins (provider of specialty insurance) in Charlotte (USA), among others. While in college, Kory played ice hockey (minor professional & NCAA Division 1) at various locations in the US.

Kory studied at the London School of Economics (MSc Finance) and Northern Michigan University (BSc Finance with a minor in Computer Science, summa cum laude).

TRISTAN STEENKAMP

Before joining our team in October 2021, Tristan worked as an investment professional for Advent International’s global crossover hedge fund (‘Sunley House Capital’) with a focus on software and fintech companies.

Prior to that, he spent over two years at McKinsey advising companies on strategy and corporate finance topics in primarily Europe and the Middle East, as well as having worked as an investment professional at Allianz Asset Management in London, focusing on global equities.

Tristan studied at the London School of Economics (MSc Finance) and Tilburg University (BSc) as well as the National University of Singapore. He has also successfully completed all three levels of the CFA exam.
